Wonderland.

It's so strange to me when people want to throw some much negativity at something so positive. Say what you want about T-Pain, autotune, or Kanye, or Michael Jackson... but that song is an example of how good a genre of music can be. Kanye himself has an ability to make the least credible sources turn into genius (auto-tune, t pain, post 1999 hip hop, egos, near-fatal car accidents). After bringing in multiple, reputable singers for the hook, T-Pain was the final selection. And don't try to tell me that video isn't one of the most creative things you've ever seen.

That last line was extremely defensive, because when it comes to music you have to be. There is so much negativity geared towards any of your favorite songs - from any artist, album, or era.

Every genre, at its peak, can give you the same feeling. I went through my "yeah country sucks, but at its peak it was the greatest genre of music" phase a few years ago. But when you hear any style of music at its very best, it always seems insurmountable.

I think it's about time we just mush all the genres together.

that is a great point. everyone in their "music" section on networks will say "anything but country" but it's funny because country is the most relatable genre for majority of the people in America. Little does the majority know huh?
