Rosado.

Chicago was fantastic. The greatest city I've ever been to, atleast at this point in my life. Obviously NYC is my destiny, but that is an impossibility for atleast the next 600,000 dollars.

Hannah's family and friends were all great. Her mother in particular is just adorable, the chemistry between her parents is interesting to watch.

I've noticed that my sense of humor and personality seem to fit in around Hannah. Where-as here, the same one liners would go stared at.

Returning to work was terrible.

White Castle was crap! I have to try some Krystal Burgers next- somebody has to of perfected this supposedly fool proof concept.

I got my first three tattoos while on vacation, honoring Kanye and Elvis C.
I'm determined to get an argyle print half-wristband on the top of my wrist.

Moving to Chicago woule be fantastic, but I don't know what I'd have to do to make the concept seem realistic. I think just succeeding at the long distance thing for a while is the best path.

If Mancow can succeed in Chicago, it's more than doable.

Maybe a radio demo will push through!

Watch a black man punch me.

I might be turning into a fan of fast food "angus" and "sirloin" burgers. They're adorable. They're little real burgers. A gourmet burger from a small town sophomore. I wish I could be a food elitest, the best meals I've ever had were at either an Olive Garden, Papa Ginos or TGI Fridays.

I'm going to Chicago a week from Tuesday. My first time being in a major market after learning whar a major market was. I just had a typo in that sentence, but decided to keep it.

It's frustratingly entertaining watching pre/post sportsgame interviews or press conferences. The coach or player has media training, as if the media wasn't helping them through the process by asking nonsense questions. The formula is anything to set up an answer about how young or experienced the team is (how much potential they've got or how much they've accomplished).

That's why the Patriots are the bad guys. They follow the same rules, but mock the system by converting fourth downs againsts teams they are blowing out. Tom Brady has the biggest smile on his face as he compliments every team they play, then looks completely pissed on the field and mercilessly embarrass them.

I can't wait for the season to start. Gambling, fantasy football, high definition sports, Madden, pizza and beer commercials. Sundays are the highlights of the week.

Get my hulahoop.

Ignant.

Make an honest effort to drive the speed limit.

If you don't give up within' a minute, then you'll be embraced by "rude passers" (small, aggressive bursts of speed just to make a point as they go by you) and possible beeping.

The "rude pass" is interesting to me, especially when it happens because you're driving the government's speed limit. They're attempting to get your attention (something a law breaker usually doesn't want) and also make you feel like the wrongdoer.

Last night's We Hit & Run was fantastic and fun. Had a great balance of drama, philosophy, personal history, and comedy. The new KEVBCUL featuring White Sex is going to cause music as we know it to collapse.

Autotune.

I was looking at a former coworkers Facebook pictures, and looking at her domestic life shot a memory into my head.

I was building a crib to get somebody's baby out of my bed. I seem to remember this night coming at the end of a very good day, but I think I'm just meshing completely separate occasions together. For some reason I remember my favorite Savers shopping memory being in the same day as the somebody's baby's first steps and it ending with building that dangerous crib.

As time goes on, stretches of time just become an instant in your head. At some point I'll remember every relationship I've ever had as my 15th birthday.

Haha I fucking love his extreme water drinking face, the plane in the sky, and the gangsta parody verse. The dance goes without saying.

I've finally started decorating myself since losing the weight. Who would've thought a tee shirt could look cool?

Is that not the coolest shirt you've ever seen? C'mon. How obnoxious.

In the past I'd find three shirts I like, and interchange them as sporadically as possible (sometimes in the middle of parties).

I may be all the way up to SEVEN shirts I like.

... I know.

It's fun to wear the most outlandish, socially acceptable pieces of fashoin possible. Nobody should be wearing animal-style shutter shades while ordering some In N' Out.

Make yourself look stupid and express yourself.

Wonderland.

It's so strange to me when people want to throw some much negativity at something so positive. Say what you want about T-Pain, autotune, or Kanye, or Michael Jackson... but that song is an example of how good a genre of music can be. Kanye himself has an ability to make the least credible sources turn into genius (auto-tune, t pain, post 1999 hip hop, egos, near-fatal car accidents). After bringing in multiple, reputable singers for the hook, T-Pain was the final selection. And don't try to tell me that video isn't one of the most creative things you've ever seen.

That last line was extremely defensive, because when it comes to music you have to be. There is so much negativity geared towards any of your favorite songs - from any artist, album, or era.

Every genre, at its peak, can give you the same feeling. I went through my "yeah country sucks, but at its peak it was the greatest genre of music" phase a few years ago. But when you hear any style of music at its very best, it always seems insurmountable.

I think it's about time we just mush all the genres together.

Post show.

He used the Satan's Toenails lines on stage too.

Bobby Ray had a great performance. In the place of hypemen, he has two soul sisters performing with him. He had a good acoustic track too. I immediately downloaded his mixtape after the show, and it's the best thing I've heard in a long time (that I've immediately liked). His ability to cross through any genre is only overshadowed by his voice. Awesome stuff!

Cudi was spectacular, his light show really augments his performance- a performance that should've been headlining.

It spared us some of Asher atleast. Not a fan. Even the song(s?) I enjoy sounded like shit. The crowd was 99.95% in his favor though, people were dancing on the balcony. Jim and I just stood at the bar trying to laugh at his bad comedy or trying to enjoy the people-distorted songs. I guess on paper a marijuana leaf mascot and an Uncle Sam costume sound good.

The overall mood was good, very different than a venue full of indie scenesters. It was just a bunch of people looking to have fun. College fratboys and tall gangstas were able to unite. With the underground hip hop artists, people come together against the mainstream because they know what they're creating is better music and want it on the radio and in media. With indie scenesters they come together to keep their favorite musicians from being mainstream because that would make them suck. It's inspiring to see creativity that wants to break through, and it's depressing to try to hold on to your bands. It was the reason I stopped going to shows years ago, the people were just frustrating to be around.

At a Campfire Music/Mix and Match show, AND at a Kid Cudi/Asher Roth show, I found a complete respect for Kanye West- a living, current, mainstream producer. That mainstream-indie respect is something you don't find in a certain other musical genre (and it's not like either genre is well represented on the radio, if "represented" at all).
